The Clovis Planning Commission approved permits for two new restaurants on Monday: Yolked Kitchen on Willow and Nees avenues and a drive-thru Panda Express on Shaw Avenue.

What happened: At their March 20 meeting, the Clovis Planning Commission approved permits for two new restaurants.

Yolked Kitchen will be a full-service breakfast and lunch restaurant selling beer, wine, and distilled spirits with an outdoor patio along the Old Town Clovis Trail, which runs behind the shopping center at the northeast corner of Willow and Nees avenues.

The commissioners also approved a new Panda Express restaurant with drive-thru to replace the existing building at 288 W. Shaw Avenue, which was previously a Mattress Land location. It will be located in the existing Crunch Fitness shopping center on the southeast corner of Shaw and Peach avenues.


And also: The commissioners approved a conditional use permit for the addition of a modular office building and the extension of approval for three existing modular classroom
buildings at Clovis Christian Church, located at 1701 Locan Avenue.
