☁️ Good morning. Today is Friday, March 29. Rain is expected to return this evening through Saturday morning, but NWS Hanford is only expecting a marginal risk of excessive rain. Lots of snow still expected for the Sierras, though.

🎉 Today is César Chávez Day in California – a labor leader who left an indelible mark on Fresno, the San Joaquin Valley, and farmworkers. Last month, the Fresno City Council awarded a contract to begin changing the name of the 10-mile stretch of Kings Canyon Road, Ventura Avenue, and California Avenue to César Chávez Boulevard, after over a year of debate and legal challenges. Earlier in March Fresno County Judge Jon Skiles denied a challenge from business owners and residents attempting to stop the name change.
