💃🏽 When I first moved back to Fresno, Spokeasy quickly became one of my favorite haunts. (Before I became a soccer mom, that is.) So I was heartbroken, along with so many others, to hear about the fire that shut down the beloved Tower District bar, along with Labyrinth Art Collective, last week. But good news – lots of local businesses are hosting fundraisers to support the Van Ness Villagers. Check out the benefit concert at Sour Milk this Saturday, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., or the Moto x Ampersand Beer Float collab this Sunday at Ampersand’s Echo location from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
🏛️ Congratulations to Fresno Unified’s Design Science Middle College High School for earning the Blue Ribbon School designation from the U.S. Department of Education. Just 33 schools were chosen in California for the prestigious honor, awarded to schools who close achievement and opportunity gaps and set high academic standards.
