New valley book festival premieres this weekend

☀️ Good morning! Today is Wednesday, May 1. If you’re a fan of immigrant rights, the labor movement, or Justin Timberlake – happy May Day.

🦋 There’s two May Day events we’re aware of in town – several nonprofits are hosting a citizenship and resource fair at Eaton Plaza today from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A May Day march around downtown will begin at 5:00 p.m.

And, Students for Palestinian Liberation at Fresno State are hosting a peaceful sit-in at the Peace Garden/free speech area at 1:00 p.m. today.
