🗳 Bakersfield Assemblymember Vince Fong has handily won the special election for Congressional District 20, vacated by former Rep. Kevin McCarthy last year. Fong and his opponent Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux will once again be on the ballot this November to decide who will sit a full two-year term in Congress. KGET reported that Boudreaux has not ruled out stepping out of that race to endorse Fong.
