☀️ Good morning! Today is Tuesday, July 8. Danielle, here. Did you miss us? We’ve been quiet over here — both Rob and I were taken out with some sort of bug. Instead of watching Love Island USA like the rest of the world to get through it, I got to watch my kids be bored for the past few days.
Cleaner air on the 4th? As much as my kids love fireworks, I dread the noise and coughing and smoke inherent in the day of glorified pyromania. 💃🏽 Fresno’s first ever Latine film festival: The valley has no shortage of solid filmmakers — and this Saturday, you can catch many in action at the city’s first Latine Film Festival at the Tower Theater. Another grocery store moves north: Ah, a tale as old as time, or at least as old as Fresno. This time it’s Grocery Outlet, who shuttered their Blackstone and Ashlan Avenue location last month and has plans to open in a former Rite Aid at Willow and Nees Avenue in northeast Fresno, with a grand opening planned for next week.
