☀️ Happy Friday! It’s Aug. 30. This is Rob. Expect classic Fresno summer weather over the season’s final three-day holiday weekend. Temperatures are expected to top out at 99 on Saturday and Sunday, then dip to around 94 on Labor Day. Overnight lows this weekend are expected to remain between the mid-to upper-60s.
🌾The 100-foot-tall grain silos that have stood for nearly eight decades north of downtown Fresno will soon be coming down, said the owners of Producers Dairy told The Fresno Bee. “Extensive scavenging, mostly for copper wire, along with vandalism and deteriorated conditions have left the once mighty feed mill unusable and unsafe.” South Tower advocates clashed with Producers Dairy over a truck parking lot on Belmont and Roosevelt Avenues.
