☀️ Good morning! It’s Monday, Sept. 2. This is Rob. After several restorative weeks below the century mark, Fresno’s summer heat appears to be getting its groove back. The National Weather Service in Hanford calls for a high today of 96, followed by 99 on Tuesday. Things start to look gross around Wednesday. Calling it an “excessive heat watch,” temperatures climb to 103 on Wednesday before reaching 105 and 104 on Thursday and Friday, respectively.

🕯️The 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit, presented by the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, is visiting Fresno’s California 9/11 Memorial on Sept. 3 and 4. Tours are given by veterans who experienced the event firsthand. The exhibit will only be open to veterans, military, and first responders from 3 to 5 pm on Sept. 3. The exhibit will be open on Sept. 4 from noon to 2 pm and again from 3 to 7 pm.

‘We’re not doing enough.’ Fresno’s Coalition for Palestine hosts education forum

Over 140 Fresnans came together to learn about how they may be contributing to the violence against Gaza, how to get involved in community advocacy, and how to provide resources to Palestinians.
