☀️ Good morning! It’s Monday, Oct. 14. This is Rob. Don’t look now, but Fresno’s weather is about to get downright pleasant. The National Weather Service calls for a high today of around 82 and 84 on Tuesday, followed by a string of mostly sunny days in the 70s through the weekend.
🦅The public is invited to an evening birding walk from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, Sumner Peck Ranch. The free event is hosted by SJ River Parkway Trust.
📰 Sikh American activists marching to Sacramento are expected to come through Fresno County this week. Supporters of the “Fearless for Justice March” are demanding recognition and protection from intimidation by foreign governments and highlighting the massacres that killed Sikhs in India in 1984 after the prime minister was assassinated, KVPR reported. The statewide march is expected to last 24 days, with stops in Tulare County today and Fresno County on Tuesday.
