Fresno County Board of Supervisors March 5 meeting
The Fresno County Board of Supervisors denied the appeal of an 80-foot cell tower in Laton and approved the county’s state legislative platform.
Tulare County Board of Supervisors March 5 meeting
The Tulare County Supervisors presented a proclamation recognizing Social Work Appreciation Month and approved items on its consent calendar.

At its Monday meeting, several residents asked the Visalia City Council to consider passing a resolution supporting a ceasefire in Palestine.

Fresno Parks, Recreation and Arts Commission Feb. 26 meeting
The commissioners postponed a public hearing to establish the San Joaquin River Conservancy Parkway Committee and continue to accept applications for the Cultural Arts Plan review committee.
Clovis Planning Commission Feb. 22 meeting
The Clovis Planning Commission moved forward a new drive-thru Starbucks on Bullard and Minnewawa avenues.
Fresno Planning Commission Feb. 21 meeting
The Fresno Planning Commission moved forward a new Costco in northwest Fresno and an affordable housing development for seniors.
Madera County Board of Supervisors Feb. 20 meeting
At their Tuesday meeting, the Madera County Supervisors adopted the fiscal year 2023-24 budget with an $8.8 million operating deficit, which will the county is addressing through cost control measures, such as reduced staffing.
Madera City Council Feb. 21 meeting
At its Wednesday meeting, the Madera City Council approved a new district boundary map, which adds 1,851 acres of annexed property to District 1 and discussed options for Spanish language interpretation services.
