    • Some of the approved items included the approval of a letter of opposition to AT&T’s application to end its designation as an eligible telecommunications carrier and its obligations in certain areas of California (item 7), approval of an agreement with Simmons University to host nursing interns in Tulare County’s Health and Human Services Agency’s Public Health Branch (item 12) and approval of a capital asset purchase of an intercept whole-body contraband detection scanner for the juvenile detention facility (item 17).
