<p>On this week's Fresnolandia podcast, Jordan and Danielle talk with Genoveva Islas, executive director of Fresno-based nonprofit Cultiva La Salud about recent cuts from the Trump administration's Health and Human Services Department to Fresno County's public health department. </p>
<p>The $11 million in cuts locally have directly impacted a innovative initiative to fund community health workers that can forge through trust and language barriers and connect rural and high-risk communities with preventative health care and services.</p>
