Back by popular demand! Fresnoland will be hosting our third Ballots and Brews, on Tuesday, Oct. 18 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Tioga Sequoia Brewing Company in Downtown Fresno. Kids are welcome at this all-ages event.

Register here to RSVP. The first 30 people — 21 and over — will receive a free beer ticket.

Confused by the commercials and mailers? Want to connect with other valley residents who are also passionate about civic engagement?

Our team will be gathering local leaders to discuss some of the hottest local and state races, from Fresno County’s transportation sales tax, Measure C, to Fresno State’s Measure E, and the myriad of state propositions about abortion rights and clean air.

Joining us, we’ll have:

  • Miguel Arias, Fresno City Councilmember representing District 3
  • Neil Chase, publisher at CalMatters
  • Veronica Garibay, co-founder of Leadership Counsel for Justice and Accountability
  • Aida Macedo, a Fresno-based attorney and co-founder of Cid and Macedo, Inc.
  • Clint Olivier, former Fresno City Councilmember and executive director of Central Valley BizFed

We can’t wait to see you there.
