Clovis City Council (9/19/22) Mixed-use Home Place Master Plan approved + Centers for Living thrift store + IT staff recognized
The council approved the Home Place Master Plan for a mixed-use development near Ashlan and Leonard Avenues slated to include 1,174 single-family homes and 132 multi-family units, in addition to a five-acre commercial site.
Clovis City Council (9/12/22) Historic Preservation Commission + CDBG funds report + single-family subdivision
After much discussion, the council moved forward establishing a historic preservation commission, approved the CAPER for expenditure of CDBG funds and a 15-lot subdivision on Armstrong and Gettysburg Avenues.
Clovis Planning Commission (8/25/22) Hotel with rooftop restaurant approved + Athletic Performance CUP suspension extension
The commissioners approved a conditional use permit allowing for a hotel with rooftop restaurant to be built on Clovis Avenue adjacent to Highway 168 and extended the deadline for Athletic Performance to meet requirements for its CUP.
