☀️ Good morning! It’s Monday, July 15. This is Rob. Fresno’s relentless string of 100-plus-degree days might come to an end this week. Temperatures are expected to reach exactly 100 degrees today and Tuesday, but the National Weather Service says Fresno’s hot weather plummets Wednesday to a brisk 98 degrees! It’s a small victory in an otherwise endless stretch of hot, sunny and rainless days.

💵Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer inked a deal for a partnership between global semiconductor manufacturing association SEMI; the City of Fresno; City of Clovis; California State University, Fresno; Fresno County Economic Development Corporation; and Silicon Farms Corporation, the Fresno Business Journal reported. Dyer’s office told the Journal that the first-of-its-kind agreement in the Central Valley is a step toward diversifying local economies. As reported by Fresnoland late last year, the city has been pushing to incentivize semiconductor manufacturers to come to the San Joaquin Valley.

🏛️The Fresno Public Library’s West Fresno Branch is hosting their New Adult Faux House Plant Take and Make Craft event on Monday, July 15. The event lasts all day, and participants drop by the library to pick up supplies to make their very own faux monstera plant cutting.
