🏛️The Fresno Police Officers Association’s board of directors meets Wednesday to discuss the controversy surrounding Chief Paco Balderrama and what the city has described as the chief’s “inappropriate off-duty relationship.” Union officials have declined to comment before Wednesday’s meeting, but The Fresno Bee reported that union leaders have criticized the city for leaving out what at least some in the union said was “the most critical component of the investigation, and that is the nature of the relationship itself.”
