Fresnoland’s investigations over the past year have looked into the growing influence of dark money and the ways city policies and public dollars have been used to influence public opinion.

As we enter an important election season for local races, how should we think about corruption-proofing our ethics in local government?

Omar S. Rashad, Fresnoland’s investigative reporter and assistant editor, will moderate this panel discussion with Fresno City Councilmember Nick Richardson as well as Fresno State professor of political science, Dr. Thomas Holyoke.

The event will be held on Thursday, Feb. 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Tioga Sequoia Beer Garden in the Lookout Room. It is free for all ages.
